Overall Weekend Forecast:
Warm start but wet leading to a Cold end and dry! The rest of Thursday and Friday will be mostly sunny with Highs in the 60s. By Late Friday and into Saturday the wet weather arrives. By Sunday you'll start to feel that Arctic Air moving in and the nights will begin to fall well below freezing. Be sure to inspect and protect all your exposed piping and cover your outdoor faucet this weekend to prepare for what will be our coldest week of the season! Wintry mix is a small possibility early next week. I have more on that event at the end of this report. Be safe and have a great weekend!

Rest of Thursday - Sunny skies continue through the afternoon with Highs in the low to mid 60s. Cool in the evening with Lows in the low 30s to upper 40s.

Friday - Mostly sunny skies with a few clouds entering by the afternoon. Warmer with Highs in the mid 60s. Showers may develop late in the evening hours with the possibility of a few thunderstorms in the area. Lows stay warm in the mid 50s.

Saturday - Rain showers continue in the morning. Otherwise mostly cloudy skies and warmer. Highs in the mid to upper 60s through the afternoon. Cloudy skies will begin to break up in the evening hours and Lows will drop into the mid to upper 40s.

Sunday - Mostly sunny skies with a few intervals of patchy clouds. Much cooler with Highs in the upper 40s to low 50s. Clear Skies and much colder in the evening. Well below freezing temperatures! Lows may dip into the low to mid 20s!

Highs may not even reach 40 on some days. Expect Highs to range anywhere between the mid 30s to low 40s Monday - Wednesday. Maybe low 50s by the end of the week. Low temperatures will range in the low 20s for the first half of the week and maybe 30s to low 40s for the second half of the week.
Wintry Weather possible? Yes, but only a 40% chance and unfortunately a mixture with freezing rain/Ice...the nasty stuff.
When? Monday night through Tuesday night we could see a mixture of rain, freezing rain and a few snow showers. An update will most likely come once we can get more details. It's only 40% chance meaning that 60% chance it may not happen at all. But we should get more details on this system by late Friday or into Saturday. Again, I will update you on the situation as soon as new details come in. Regardless it will be very cold so be sure all your people, pets, plants, pipes and practice fire safety are in your plans!
